CONCEAL GUIDE

What your digital footprint can reveal

Look at the picture created by several small pieces of information.

Context changes the picture

A work biography, username and public post may be unremarkable separately. Together, they can make it easier to connect profiles or infer routines. Review combinations of information rather than only individual fields.

Separate useful visibility from unnecessary exposure

Some public information supports your work or helps people contact you. The aim of a review is to decide which details still serve a purpose, not to assume that every public page is a problem.

Choose specific changes

A private profile field, an old account closure or an updated directory entry is a concrete outcome. Keep a record of those choices and revisit them when your circumstances change.
