CONCEAL GUIDE

Follow a removal request from start to finish

Submission is one step in a longer process.

Review before requesting

Check the listing and confirm that you are authorized to ask for a change. Different sources provide different options; a result without a removal option may still offer a published contact route.

Keep the stages distinct

A request can be prepared, sent, acknowledged and eventually resolved. Those states should not be collapsed into “removed.” Conceal’s preview records a sample request locally without contacting a source.

Confirm the outcome

Return to the original source after a response. Record what changed, whether the page remains accessible and whether further follow-up is needed. A request history is most useful when it reflects verifiable events.
